The Retail Revolution – 60 minutes

  A great story on 60 mins last month, looking into the revolution in the retail market in Australia and overseas. The story features Net-A-Porter (a few of my client's favourite online shopping site, you know who you are) and a quick inside on the number of staff employed and how fulfillment works with online stores. Australian retailers have to get smarter and not throw their hands up in the air.  It is not 'too hard', you need careful planning, an online strategy, a user friendly website (your online shopfront) and just a few other things and you are off and running. It doesn't matter if it takes you a bit of time to get there...but you need to start today!  As the story outlines shopping has not slowed down it is a $15 billion industry online. Spend a few minutes, it is worth the watch.
