Content Marketing, specifically Social Media, is a great way to reach new audiences and generate leads. If done strategically, your organisation has the potential to grow your audiences like never before.
We recently had a client that had been on board with us for a while, and while we were still reaching decent numbers of people each month, results had started to stagnate. It was at this point we decided it was time for a content strategy refresh.
This particular client’s strategy is focused primarily on LinkedIn – they are service providers and rely on social currency and referrals to generate leads. To start, we first looked at the content streams we had put in place to see if we needed to tweak anything there. We felt we had a pretty good mix of content types, so we then reviewed the channels we were using. This is where we were able to identify that one particular channel was outperforming another on a regular basis.
Based on these insights, we shifted our focus to posting more regularly on the better performing channel.
